Luke Commentary

Luke presents Jesus as the Spirit-anointed Savior whose ministry fulfills God’s promises to Israel and extends God’s saving purpose to the nations. The Gospel gives particular attention to prayer, the Holy Spirit, the poor and marginalized, discipleship, joy, reversal, and the journey to Jerusalem.
