Editorial Method & Governing Standards

The New Testament Commentaries and Studies in this library were produced through an extended process of AI-assisted research, drafting, evaluation, revision, and production under human direction. As the project developed, its governing standards developed with it.

These standards are made freely available so that future editors, scholars, pastors, and others working with artificial intelligence do not have to begin again at the beginning. They may start from the methods, safeguards, editorial controls, and production standards that emerged from this project and improve upon them as scholarship and artificial-intelligence capabilities advance.

The standards are intended as a foundation rather than a ceiling. Future work should test them, improve them, and replace particular procedures when better methods become available. One principle should remain central: interpretation begins with the New Testament writers themselves—with what they wrote and what they intended to communicate.
